Ireland has won new business from MessageBird, an Amsterdam-based cloud communications platform provider, which has committed to expand its European operations with a new office in Dublin.
Led by former Salesforce and Oracle executive, Roberto Marzo, the new office will employ up to 50 new positions over the next two years. The company currently has 250 employees, across its offices in Amsterdam, San Francisco, London, Hamburg, Sydney, Shanghai, and Singapore. Its choice to establish a large base in Dublin, therefore, is a significant commitment for the firm.
The Dublin office is MessageBird's 4th office in Europe, and its 8th outpost worldwide.
